"In Memory"

To ALL beloved pets.....In our hearts forever

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.  It is

called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.

Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of

meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.

When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.

There is always food and sunshine and everyone is warm and comfortable.

All who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.

Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again just as we remember them in days gone by.

They play all day with each other.

There is one thing missing.  They are not with their

special person who loved them on Earth and had to be left behind.  So, each day

they'll run and play until the day comes when one suddenly

stops playing and looks up!!  The nose twitches!!  The ears

are up!!  The eyes are staring!!  Their eager body will begin to quiver.  And this one suddenly runs from the group, their legs carrying them faster and faster.............

You have been seen, and when you and your special

friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and

embrace in joyous reunion.  Your hands will once again caress your beloved pet.  Your face is kissed again and again and again,

and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet/friend so long gone from  your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, NEVER again

to be separated.

These are my beloved babies...I miss so very much

Poco's Ten Buck Two......"Buck"

Buck was the most beautiful, 4 yr. old, Dun Quarter horse I'd ever seen. We bought Buck from the Killers, at a local auction, on Valentines Day 2000.  He had sustained a severe leg injury and walked into the auction ring on three legs.  He deserved a second chance, as they all do. We brought him home and doctored his legs, continually.  Two months had passed and the interior portion of the leg worsened.  The injury was worse than we all had thought.  Buck was put to rest 2 months after we brought him home.  Buck had touched the hearts of all who knew him.  His personality lit up the barn.  Though the pain he was in....he always managed to hop over to greet you.  He truly is a special horse!!  AND LOVED VERY MUCH!!!!!!  I am truly blessed to have known such a kind, wonderful animal........To my friend....Buck.

 Calcutta...."Charlie"

My Charlie.....My baby.....My pride a joy.....This giant, highly intelligent, 11 yr. old, 17.1+ hand Holsteiner was my world.  He was an exciting guy with loads of charisma.  There was never a dull moment in the barn.  At feeding time he was my shadow. He wouldn't go eat until I secured him in his stall.  Until then he would follow me around like a puppy dog.  I lost Charlie Oct. 2, 2001 from complications.  When I lost Charlie, I lost a part of my heart.  The barn is not the same. To this day his halter hangs in the same spot I left it.  I can't begin to tell you how much I loved him.  He was truly a magnificent animal!!!  I want to thank Sherry and Gwen for giving me the opportunity to own such a great horse.  Thank you!!

To my baby..

Charlie..... I miss you soooo much!!!

A note to all.......I regret that these are the only pictures I have of my babies.  I wouldn't have these if it wasn't for my dear friend, Jean.  Thank you !!  I used to take a lot of pictures and somehow, got away from it.  Soooooo, Please no matter if they are your family, your friends or your animals.....PLEASE take a lot of pictures.  Because when the day comes..... all you're going to have are memories and photos.

Max passed away in August 2002 just 1 month after the photo above was taken.  He was 6 years old.  He was my constant companion.  I will truly miss him!   He will never be forgotten...Love forever..

......I shall see beauty, but none to match your living grace.

I shall hear music, but none as sweet as the droning song with which you loved me.

I shall fill my days, but I shall not, cannot forget...
